Whether it’s a coworker or a client of a different cultural background, religion, or gender expression, the key to effective communication is to first acknowledge your own biases that shape your world view. In this health talk session, attendees will learn new communication techniques rooted in listening, mindfulness, and empathy. You will discuss what it takes to work with people from different backgrounds, paying close attention to cultural nuances compounded by language, socioeconomic backgrounds, and more. Spoiler alert—this session is not about them, it’s all about you.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your Client Success Coordinator will connect with you and take you step-by-step to ensure the subject matter and content aligns with your wellbeing goals. Your booked session includes an outline for employees to review ahead of time. Plus, we help with the marketing efforts. You'll receive marketing assets to help engage your staff, and promote your session. All virtual sessions are delivered via Zoom, and we help track utilization to ensure you’re getting the best ROI.
